This module allows an admin to control and limit the quotas of the end user’s Files app on the webmail, for Carbonio CE. The Open Source version doesn’t have limits to the files and user could load and create indefinitely.
All options in order to manage this feature are shown in the lateral menu:
Manage: Enables or disables the feature for the server.
The Status notice below will display whether the module is enabled or not.
Set quota: In this seccion you as admin will be able to select the domain for what the quota will be set or limited.
You only need to select the domain from the drop-down menu and clic on Setup.
Once selected your domain, fill in the field with the maximum size you want for all single mailboxes in that domain. Notice that the value is in bytes.
You can even set a particular quota for a single mailbox. If this is the case, select the user from the drop-down menu and clic ‘Edit User’.
To confirm, the message below will show you the success of the operation.
Reports: CbPlus Quota incorporates a reporting tool where an admin can aknowledge the quotas for each user in a domain. Just select the domain you want to see the quotas for from the drop-down menu and clic List Users as shown in the image below.
From here you will have the possibility to search in customized logs.
If you need to edit a quota displayed in the report, you will need to select the Set Quota option from the menu.
