This feature performs an automatic deduplication. The basic concept is that equal messages are replaced by links to just one copy of them, so that prevents the use of storage space twice or more times helping to save a lot of space. It doesn’t require any special setup and can be done at any time, especially after migrations.
To access the module, go to the main menu on the right, select Servers, and then select the Misc tab at the top.
Once you reach the module, you will see only two buttons: Dedupe and Status.
Clicking on Dedupe will perform the operation. The Status button instead will show information about the progress of the opearation and basic statistics.
