CbPlus offers a full incremental backup for Carbonio CE. By default the full backup is done every 1st Sunday of the month followed by 38 daily incremental copies. This mean to cover the whole month until the next full backup takes place.
In order to access the module, go to the main menu localizated in the left side and then choose Backup from the bar.
First to all you need to enable the module. Click on the button to do it. The Status notice underneath will confirm that the backup is enabled.
The next step is to define the backup’s path.
Save the changes by clicking the button in order to have your backup configurated.
Account restore: To restore an account please select Users from the main menu of CbPlus and select the domain where the account you want to restore is from the drop-down menu. Then click on List Users.
All users belonging to the selected domain will be listed below. Basic info will also be displayed.
Click on the edit icon in the right side of the desired user, and then select Restore from the tab above.
Two types of Restore Options are available: Separate and Over it. The differente between both is explained in the same module. Two radio buttons allow you to select which restore option to choose. Then click Restore to start the account’s restoration.
Logs: In order to see the status for an ongoing restoration there is a specific log to access from the main menu, then click on Backup from the bar above.
You can choose from the number of lines to show to regular expressions to filter. Then click on Filter to see the results.
If any result is returned, you will see the basic info in columns as shown below.
